Mrs. Kathleen Thigpen Poole, age 78, of Newton, died on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at her residence in Newton. Mrs. Poole worked as a caregiver and was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Newton. Survivors include 2 sons, Wayne Poole of Newton and Jimmy (Sara) Poole of Coolidge; 2 daughters, Kathy (Glenn) Owens of Albany and Margie (Randy) Willis of Cleveland, TN; 2 brothers, Robert Thigpen of Glenwood and Billy (Jan) Thigpen of Glenwood; and 3 sisters, Mae (Sammy) Munford of Alamo, Earline (Talmadge) Prickett of Soperton and Betty Brinson of East Dublin.

Graveside funeral services were held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 3:00 p.m., in the Glenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Malcolm Parker officiating.
