The Vidalia High School Indians Cross Country team began their 2025 campaign with an impressive performance at the Peach State Preview, held at Jeff Davis. Facing strong competition, the Indians showed great determination on the challenging 5K course, signaling a promising season ahead.

Girls

Junior Judith Hussey led the girls' team with a stellar 9th-place finish, clocking in at 22:36. Her performance set a high bar for her teammates. Coach Mandy Godbee praised Hussey, stating, “Judith ran with incredible grit. Her leadership is key to our success.”

The boys’ team secured a solid 7th place overall. Senior Cash Driggers led the team with a time of 18:30. He was followed closely by freshman Wyatt Vassey, who made a remarkable debut.
