QUICKLY UNDER CONTROL – The Lyons Fire Department was dispatched to reports of a home fully engulfed by fire on Tuesday afternoon, July 23. Firefighters quickly responded to the home located at 154 East Thompson Street, and had the fire under control shortly after arrival. According to authorities, two men were in the home during the fire but safely exited the structure. The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.
