OUT WITH THE OLD - McLendon Enterprises began demolishing the old Toombs County Courthouse last week. The demolition and cleanup is expected to take 2-3 weeks, after which work will begin on the parking area adjacent to the new courthouse. The new courthouse officially opened November 20, 2023, and will be hosting an official grand opening in the future.
