Quotes for our Times:
John Ashbrook, a co-host of the Ruthless Podcast: The War on Fraud is here, and Vice President Vance is leading it from the front.
The War on Fraud is a cause the entire nation can rally behind. It’s sparked an organic zeal that America hasn’t seen since Donald Trump descended the golden escalator in 2015 and made his promise to Make America Great Again. Americans who have grown fatigued from being constantly ripped off by fraudsters are finally seeing results, thanks to the Trump administration’s renewed commitment and Vance’s unwavering determination to fight for the forgotten people of America.
Byron York, chief political correspondent for The Washington Examiner: The DNC Autopsy: Did democrats really want to know?
There is a reason DNC chair Martin resisted releasing the autopsy for so long. Many assumed Martin was hiding an explosive document that would reveal his party's political malpractice. But that's not the reason. The reason is there is a lot about 2024 that the Democratic Party's leadership didn't want to know. Releasing the incomplete and ill-considered autopsy would show the world that the party never made a serious effort to understand its failure.
Jonathan Turley, Fox News Media contributor and the Shapiro Professor of Public Interest Law at George Washington University: Rep. Goldman is trying to rage bait his way to victory. Can he?
While [New York Democrat Rep. Dan] Goldman is trying to fight off the challenge from the left with some pocketbook pitches, he is sticking to the narrative that got him elected a few years ago. In an 'age of rage,' Goldman has excelled, pushing unstepped on, unadulterated rage. Since his entry into politics, he has run on what was viewed as the sure winner in New York politics: obsessive, unending attacks on President Donald Trump. Goldman made sure that no one was more enraged at all things Trump, all the time.
In this campaign, Goldman has returned to the same theme of promising new investigations and impeachments.
Pastor Corey Brooks, founder and Senior Pastor of New Beginnings Church of Chicago and the CEO of Project H.O.O.D.: Left keeps crying Jim Crow because Supreme Court rejected racial district games.
Now the Supreme Court has said no to much of this. In Louisiana v. Callais, the court sharply changed the way Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act can be used in redistricting and limited the race-based logic that had shaped many of these maps. It did not repeal the Voting Rights Act. It did not take away anyone’s ballot. It did not say Black Americans cannot vote, cannot run, cannot organize or cannot win. It said government cannot keep making race the overriding principle in drawing districts and pretend that this is the highest form of civil rights.
