Giveaway

The New Life in Christ Ministries Outreach Ministry will be opening the doors of their “Clothes Closet,” located at 208 Meadowsbrook Street in Vidalia, for a giveaway from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 3.

The giveaway will feature clothing and shoes for men, women, and children.

MLK Parade

Community Men in Action is accepting parade applications for the annual MLK Parade, slated for January 19 in Vidalia. Entries are due by Wednesday, December 31. For more information call (478) 494-8253.

The Nelle Brown Memorial Library, located at 166 W.

Liberty Ave. in Lyons, will temporarily close its doors to the public beginning January 16 for an extensive renovation. The library’s last day of operation will be January 15. For more information, call (912) 526-6511.
