Vidalia Recognizes Businesses Working to Keep It Clean

During the July 13 meeting of the Vidalia City Council, the City and Keep It Clean Vidalia committee came together to honor two businesses working to keep their portions of the community clean.

Each month, the Keep It Clean Vidalia committee selects a business within the City to honor and thank for their work to keep litter out of the streets and city. This month, the city honored Dairy Queen of Vidalia and Food Lion for their commitment to keeping their businesses clean, safe, and welcoming.

“Keeping these areas clean helps prevent safety concerns, shows care in presentation, and keeps things fresh for customers and neighbors alike,” City Manager Josh Beck emphasized.

Representatives of the businesses were presented with plaques that may be showcased at their stores in recognition of a job well done.
