Vidalia Soccer Splits With Coffee

The Vidalia High School soccer teams split their Friday matches against Coffee County, with the Lady Indians securing a win while the boys took a loss.

Girls

The Lady Indians edged out the Trojans 3-2 in a closely contested game. The victory bumps their overall record to 8-3 on the season, and they are currently 1-2 in region play.

Boys

In the boys' matchup, Coffee County got the better of Vidalia, winning the game 3-1. The loss brings the Indians to an even 5-5 overall for the year, keeping them at 1-1 in the region.

Both Vidalia squads traveled to Bacon County on Tuesday for matches that concluded after presstime. They will be back on their home field this Thursday to host Bryan County, with games starting at 5:00 p.m.
