Distance standout Cash Driggers turned in a remarkable performance, winning both the 800-meter and 1600-meter runs. He also played a key role in the victorious 4x400meter relay team of Jamarcus Bouyer, Alton Boles, and Kashun Coney.

In the field events, CJ Monroe added to the Indians’ success with a firstplace finish in the discus.

Girls

On the girls’ side, Vidalia matched the boys’ intensity with an equally impressive championship performance. The Lady Indians were led by a strong group of individual champions and dominant relay teams.

Takaiyah Bacon soared to victory in the long jump while Dreshiya Jackson claimed first place in the triple jump. On the track, Kayden Love sprinted to gold in the 100-meter dash, and J’Miyah Hunt followed with a win in the 200-meter dash.

The Lady Indians’ relay teams proved unstoppable, sweeping both the 4×100-meter and 4x200meter relays. The winning teams featured Kayden Love, Zenobia Rollins, Dreshiya Jackson, and J’Miyah Hunt, whose speed and teamwork sealed the victories.

With both teams firing on all cylinders, Vidalia’s sweep of the Indian Invitational #2 highlights the program’s strength and momentum as the season continues.
