Easter Drama

Cedar Crossing Baptist Church, 2926 Cedar Crossing Rd., Uvalda, will have 3 services for Easter. The Last Supper, Friday, April 3, at 7:00 p.m.; The Garden & Trial, Saturday, April 4, at 6:00 p.m.; and The Crucifixion and Resurrection Sunday, April 5, at 6:00 p.m. Childcare will be provided.

New Life in Christ Ministries, 208 Meadowbrook St., Vidalia, will host their 2nd Festival of Choirs on Sunday, March 29, at 11:00 a.m. All choirs are invited to participate.

Cantata

The Lyons Community Church Choir will present a cantata for Lent on March 29 at 5:00 p.m. in the church’s sanctuary. The cantata is entitled “On a Hill Too Far-Away.” There is no admission charge and a time of food and fellowship will be in the social hall following service.

Gospel Sing

A Gospel Sing will be held at North Thompson Baptist Church, 404 N. Thompson Rd., Vidalia, on March 29 at 10:30 a.m., featuring Heartfelt. A covered dish lunch will be served at noon, followed by an Easter Egg hunt.

The Ushers Ministry of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 1855 Sawmill Rd., Ailey, will host a Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, March 28, at 9:00 a.m. The speaker will be Sister Rachel Eason Terrell of St. John A.M.E. Church in Ailey.
