Barons Earn NAIA All Academic Honors

The Brewton-Parker Christian University had numerous winter sport athletes earn the NAIA Scholar-Athlete All-Academic Team honors for earning a 3.5+ GPA in the classroom. The Barons had nine different athletes earn the distinction for their hard work away from their sports.

Men’s wrestling led the winter sport athletes, with five wrestlers meeting the GPA requirements. Gabriel Evans, Brandon Lively, Tate Morris, Caden Whitaker, and Gailan Wilds worked diligently in the classroom to earn this recognition. The Barons Cheer team had two representatives make the list: Harley Slade and Daniel Smith. Smith, a two-sport athlete, is the sole indoor Track and Field member to meet the requirements. The Lady Barons basketball team had two members make the list: Lauren Pean and Kaziah Terrell.
