MoCo Library Schedules Fun Throughout March

The Montgomery County Public Library has scheduled numerous fun events for library patrons of all ages, as the facility ensures that March and the beginning of spring is a time of joy for all. n Wednesday, March 4, adults are welcome to enjoy a time of coffee and coloring at 10:30 p.m., while kids bring creativity to the location during Crafternoon from 2:30 p.m. until 5 p.m., and Lego enthusiasts of all ages meet for Lego Club from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Kids can make a Cat in the Hat craft and enjoy a story during Crafty Times at 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 5.
Card game enthusiasts of all ages will be playing Uno in the main area of the library while teens can play Phase 10 in the library’s meeting room at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7.
Wiggles and Giggles (ages birth until 5 years old) will meet at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 9.
The adult book club will meet at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10.
On Wednesday, March 11, adults can enjoy a time of coffee and coloring at 10:30 p.m., kids can show off their creative skills during Crafternoon from 2:30 p.m. until 5 p.m., and Lego enthusiasts can work to complete challenges during Lego Club from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
On Monday, March 16, Wiggles and Giggles will meet at 11, while adults will work on their crocheting skills during Cozy Hook Crocheting with Mrs. Sheryl at 2:30 p.m.
Adults will enjoy a time of coffee and coloring at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, while kids complete crafts from 2:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. during Crafternoon, and Lego enthusiasts build detailed structures from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. during Lego Club.
The Kids Craft Club will make a paper bag kite at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 19.
Patrons of all ages will gather at the library to play Bingo at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21.
Wiggles and Giggles will meet at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 23.
On Tuesday, March 24, library patrons may enjoy a snack and paint a portrait of a pig and flowers during the Cookies and Canvas event at 4 p.m. On Wednesday, March 25, adults can enjoy a time of coffee and coloring at 10:30 p.m., kids can show off their creative skills during Crafternoon from 2:30 p.m. until 5 p.m., and Lego enthusiasts can work to complete challenges during Lego Club from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Crafty Tales will complete a Pete the Cat themed activity and story at 2:30 p.m. and the adult Photography Club will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 26.
At 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, adults will gather to play Magic the Gathering in the library’s meeting room and teens and kids will come together for Pokemon Club in the main library.
Wiggles and Giggles will meet at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 30.
Kids will enjoy a balloon race car event at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31.
The library, located at 215 S. Railroad Avenue, is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday. The facility is closed on Friday and Sunday. For more information, call (912) 583-2780.
