The Vidalia Rotary Club recently donated $1,500 to the Vidalia High School SoundTribe Marching Band in support of the Band’s trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in November. This year, on Thanksgiving Day, the Vidalia High School SoundTribe will be marching in the 2026 6ABC Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia – an opportunity which band leaders are calling “a once-in-a-lifetime honor!”

To help offset the cost of the trip, the band is currently accepting donations from members of the community. To donate, contact Vidalia High School Director of Bands Steven Arnold at (757) 914-0924 or email sarnold@vidalia-city.ga.us.
