Pre-K Registration In MoCo To Open March 2

Montgomery County Schools will begin accepting applications for upcoming pre-k students on Monday, March 2, and a special enrollment event will be held on Thursday, March 5.
On March 5, a special onsite registration day will be held from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Montgomery County Elementary School Pre-K Wing, located at 900 Martin Luther King Dr. in Ailey and decorated with signs and balloons. During this event, school representatives will be available to provide parents and guardians with applications and information, and the Montgomery County Health Department representatives will be onsite to help families complete the Georgia Eye, Ear, and Dental Form 3300.
To enroll in pre-k, children must be at least 4 years old by September 1, 2026, and must be potty trained. Applications for the 20262027 school year can be picked up at the Montgomery County Board of Education, located at 703 Dobbins Street in Mount Vernon, and require several pieces of documentation, including:
• A certified birth certificate • The child’s social security card
• Proof of Georgia residency (example: a utility bill in the parent/guardian’s name)
• Georgia Immunication Form 3231
• Georgia Eye, Ear, and Dental Form 3300
• Copy of child’s Medicaid or Peachcare card
