MHMH To Host Heart Health Expo On Thursday

Memorial Health Meadows Hospital will celebrate the opening of the facility’s second cardiac catheterization lab with a Heart Health Expo and Ribbon Cutting from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 26.

This new lab will allow the hospital to provide more advanced heart care, and will continue to make the hospital an asset to healthcare within the region. During the event, hospital representatives will give guided catheterization lab tours, discuss heart-healthy education, and connect with the public. Cardiac providers will be available to meet the community, pharmacists will be available to answer any questions about medication, and healthcare experts will give information about cardiac rehabilitation and stroke awareness.

The event will also feature heart-healthy snacks and interactive booths, such as a walk-through inflatable heart, which helps individuals to learn more about the most important organ in the body.
