TCREA FEBRUARY MEETING — Toombs County Retired Educators Association speakers this month were Johnny Smith, Georgia Retired Educators Association Director from Atlanta, who discussed the latest legislation in our state government concerning Georgia's retired educators; Dr. Sandy Reid, Superintendent of Vidalia City Schools, who discussed her background in education and the importance of building relationships with students; and Barry Waller, Superintendent of Toombs County Schools, who discussed the benefits of the Heavy Equipment and Construction programs in his high school. TRAFFIC LIGHT DOWN – During the collision, the Chevrolet Traverse collided with a Dodge Durango, causing the Durango to hit the traffic light post and the light to fall.
