MoCo Library Full of Activities in February

The Montgomery County Public Library has announced their February activity schedule, which is full of fun for patrons of all ages.
On Wednesday, February 11, adult patrons can enjoy a time of coffee and coloring at 10:30 a.m., while kids can show off their creativity during Crafternoon from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Lego enthusiasts of all ages will meet to complete challenges during Lego Club at 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
On Thursday, February 12, the Kids Craft Club will complete an introduction to Beaver Bot during their meeting at 4 p.m.
Teenagers are invited to bring their valentines to the Library on Saturday, February 14, as the location hosts Paint Your Partner at 11 a.m.
The Library will be closed in honor of President’s Day on Monday, February 16.
Patrons of all ages will be able to snack and paint during the Cookies and Canvas event at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17.
On Wednesday, February 18, adults will meet again for Coffee and Coloring at 10:30 a.m., kids will be invited back to Crafternoon from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., and the Lego Club will meet again from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
The Library will host its first ever Chili Cookoff at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, as patrons are invited to show off their best chili recipes. During the event, cornhole games, crafts, and bubbles will be available to enjoy.
The library is located at 215 S. Railroad Avenue in Mount Vernon and is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday. The library is closed on Friday and Sunday. For more information, call (912) 253-2780.
