INVESTING IN LOCAL YOUTH – Vidalia Firefighters recently visited J.R. Trippe Middle School, where they donated 150 frisbees promoting fire safety and spent time playing basketball with the students. Apparatus Operator Robert King, Captain Kris Owens, Apparatus Operator Tyler Page, Assistant Fire Chief Robert Tillman, and Firefighter Parker Allred each interacted with the students, helping to foster a more unified community. The Department is grateful to P.E. Teachers Chris Dykes and Terri Collins, Parent & Community Engagement Coordinator Sean Sasser, School Resource Officer Wesley Carter, and Principal Eric McDonald for their help in the effort.
