The Advance was contacted by Danielle Yerdon, of New York, on behalf of her mother-in-law to feature our very own Groundhog in this week’s edition in honor of Groundhog Day! Though Yerdon and her mother-in-law Lorraine M. Yost (pictured) do not live in Georgia, they understand the power of the newspaper, and wanted to make sure that Yost’s taxidermy woodchuck, Chucky, was able to remind the public that six more weeks of winter are on the way!
