Memorial Health Meadows Hospital recently welcomed a new administrator to the hospital, as Abby Bray was named the facility’s new Vice President of Operations.

Bray is no stranger to HCA, as she hails from the HCA South Atlantic Division, where she most recently served as Director of Strategy and Business Development. In this role, she supported strategic planning and analytics efforts across 12 hospitals spanning Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. Her work included market analysis, service line growth planning, and securing funding for multiple freestanding emergency departments and major capital initiatives.

Prior to joining HCA Healthcare, Bray held progressive leadership roles with HighPoint Health in Tennessee and Premier Health in Ohio, where she supported physician services, practice operations, and system-wide performance initiatives. She also completed an Administrative Residency with the HCAowned Tulane Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana, gaining handson experience in hospital operations, finance, and process improvement.

Bray holds a Master of Health Administration from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Kentucky. She and her husband, Dalton, are relocating to Vidalia and are excited to become active members of the community.

“I am honored to join Memorial Health Meadows Hospital and become part of the Vidalia community,” she emphasized. “I look forward to working alongside the leadership team and colleagues across the hospital to support our mission and continue providing high-quality, compassionate care close to home.” Memorial Health Meadows Hospital CEO Wesley Taylor also spoke about the change. “Abby brings a strong operational mindset paired with strategic vision. Her experience working across complex healthcare systems, combined with her collaborative leadership style, will be an asset as we continue to strengthen operations and expand access to care for our community,” he remarked.

Bray officially began working in the new position on Monday, February 2.
