Wheeler County BOE 2026 Meeting Dates Announced

2026 brings another year of decision making for the Wheeler County Board of Education, as the members seek to create the best possible learning environment and opportunities for the district’s students. To accomplish that, the Board has announced its 2026 meeting schedule.

The Wheeler County Board of Education will meet on the second Monday of each month of 2026 except for October, when the meeting date is adjusted because of the district’s fall break. Scheduled meeting dates include: January 12, February 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, October 19, November 9, and December 14.

Meetings will be held in the Wheeler County Board of Education Conference Room, located at 18 McRae Street in Alamo, and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
