The local Quint Shrine Club recently presented a $20,000 donation to the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, to help the facility continue to allow children to receive life-changing pediatric surgery at no cost to the families.

Each year, the Club works to raise money for the Greenville hospital, as it is the closest Shriners Hospital. This facility works specifically with children with orthopedic issues, such as scoliosis, limb deficiencies, cerebral palsy complications, hip dysplasia, arthrogryposis, and more.

This year, the Shriners were able to raise $20,000, which was presented directly to Greenville Hospital and Board of Directors Representative Clyde Bouie, who thanked the men for their work to help improve children’s lives.

Quint Shrine Club President Shannon Fields emphasized that the men were happy to be able to present this funding, and were extra grateful to the numerous sponsors that helped them reach the fundraising total.

The local Quint Shrine Club is led by President Fields, Treasurer/Past President Kevin James, Secretary/ Past President Jason Moore, First Vice President/ Past President David Smith, and Second Vice President Jason Horton.

The Club shared that they will continue to work to fundraise for the hospital in the coming years, as they believe that every child should have the opportunity to receive needed medical care.
