Christmas in the City Brings Holiday Cheer to Alamo

The City of Alamo will celebrate the most wonderful time of the year this Saturday, December 6, as Christmas in the City turns the area into a holly jolly wonderland.

This event will kick off at 1 p.m. in downtown Alamo, as over 40 vendors line the streets to sell food, crafts, jewelry, and more to all looking for Christmas presents for their loved ones. The Tres Hombres band will hit the stage, bringing an exciting medley of classics to the streets, and kids activities, such as a train ride, will be available. All citizens are invited to peruse the booths, enjoy the music, and fellowship with one another during this most wonderful time of the years.

The downtown celebration will end at 5 p.m., as everyone moves to set up along the street in anticipation for the annual Christmas Parade, which will hit the streets at 6 p.m.
