Wheeler County Elementary School Celebrates Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week was celebrated at Wheeler County School Elementary School during the week of October 28-31. Red Ribbon Week is an annual alcohol, tobacco, drug, and violence prevention campaign in the United States.
This year’s theme was “Life is a Puzzle; Solve it Drug Free!” Students participated in many activities, including a coloring contest and daily riddles.
Congratulations to the Wheeler County Elementary School Red Ribbon Week Coloring Contest Winners! Each student received a gift card for their hard work. Winners were: Pre-K – Kambry Garner (DQ Gift Card) Kindergarten – Nova Stanley (DQ Gift Card) 1st Grade – Gracelyn Cravey (DQ Gift Card) 2nd Grade – Brielle Williams (McDonald's Gift Card) 3rd Grade – Ruby Mason (McDonald's Gift Card) 4th Grade – Kamille Griffin (Chik-Fil-A Gift Card) 5th Grade – A'lreanna Wright (Chik-Fil-A Gift Card) Congratulations to the overall Riddle Winners for the week. They were: Randi Phillips (5th grade – Van Houten's class) Ace Phillips (2nd grade – Edwards' class) Makai Fuller (2nd grade – Edwards' class) Many thanks for the donation of prizes goes to Harry Stevenson, ICPS, Southeast Georgia Project Coordinator of the Partners in Prevention Project sponsored by the Council on Alcohol & Drugs, Southeast Georgia Office.
