Daughtry Speaks to Four Rivers Patriots

The Four Rivers Patriots Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons at 7:00. With President Joel Keener presiding, they had 18 in attendance.

Dess Smith III introduced the speaker for the evening, Compatriot Hu Daughtry. Hu and his wife Susan live in Metter, GA, and Hu is a member of the Mill Creek SAR Chapter in Statesboro. His presentation was on 'Thain/ Greene Family Connection' President Joel then inducted A.L. Wilkes into the Four Rivers Chapter as its newest member. Those in attendance from other chapters were Wiregrass members Dess Smith III, Bill Carmichael and John Tapley, Jr.
