BPCU To Host Charles Billingsley on November 6

Brewton-Parker Christian University and the First Baptist Church of Lyons have collaborated to bring renowned Christian Music Recording Artist Charles Billingsley to the area for A Night of Praise on Thursday, November 6.
Billingsley has been a dynamic performer in the Christian music industry for almost 30 years, as he kicked off his career as a lead vocalist with the Grammy-nominated band sensation, “NewSong.” Billingsley has headlined over 3,200 concerts, released 24 records as a solo artist, and even had seven songs hit the coveted #1 spot on the inspirational radio charts.
Known for numerous hits – such as “When God Made You,” “Jesus, Only Jesus,” “Midnight Cry,” “Mercy Tree,” and “Center of It All” – Billingsley’s concert is sure to inspire the audience and help cultivate an evening of praise and worship.
The event will be held at Saliba Chapel on the Brewton-Parker Christian University campus, located at 201 David-Eliza Fountain Circle in Mount Vernon. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and music will begin at 6 p.m.

NEWSONG FRONT MAN – Charles Billingsley began his career as the front man for the popular Christian Band, NewSong, before kickstarting a successful career as a solo artist. Billingsley will perform at the Brewton-Parker Christian University Saliba Chapel on Thursday, November 6, as a part of the Night of Praise event.
