PAINTING THE TOWN PINK – Last week, the Vidalia Fire Department worked to paint fire hydrants pink as part of the annual “Painting the Town Pink” event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. People are encouraged to sign the fire hydrants in memory and honor of those fighting or who have fought the disease. Throughout October, the Department will host fundraising events to raise money for breast cancer awareness at local restaurants.
