Pastor Appreciation
Cedar Crossing Baptist Church will have Pastor Appreciation on Sunday, October 12, at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday School. The LeFevre Quartet will share the message through song and testimony. A covered dish meal will be served.

Fall Festival
North Thompson Baptist Church, 404 N. Thompson Church Rd., Vidalia, will have a Fall Festival on October 25, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. There will be food, games, and more, along with a chili contest. Everyone is invited to attend.

Men's Day
Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 1855 Sawmill Rd. Ailey, will have their annual Men's Day Celebration on Sunday, October 5, with Sunday School at 10:30 a.m. and the Program at 11:30. Pastor Carl Wardlaw III will bring the message.

TCREA Meeting
The Toombs County Retired Educators Association will meet on Thursday, October 2, at 10:30 a.m., in the Dr. Mark and Tonya Spivey Library on Jackson Street in Vidalia.
Clothes Giveaway
The New Life In Christ Ministries Outreach Ministry, 208 Meadowbrook St., Vidalia, will have their 'Clothes Closet” giveaway on Saturday, October 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will be clothing and shoes for men, women and children, and coats and jackets for cooler weather. Accessories and other home good items will also be available.

Life Chain Sunday
The 24th annual Toombs County Life Chain will take place on Sunday, October 5, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., meeting at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hwy. 292, at 1:45. The group will stand in front of the railroad tracks across from Walmart as a Christian community to offer a prayerful, peaceful, silent witness to the sanctity of all human life.
Everyone is invited to participate.
Domestic Violence Program
New Life In Christ Ministries Outreach, 208 Meadowbrook St., Vidalia, will have a Domestic Violence Program on Saturday, October 11, at 10:00 a.m. This event will be held in the Sanctuary. Everyone is invited to attend.
