VHS Volleyball Splits Matches

The Vidalia High School Lady Indians volleyball team split their matches in recent action against Tattnall County and Faith Baptist. vs. Tattnall

In their match against Tattnall, the Lady Indians bounced back after dropping the first set to win the next two and secure a 2-1 victory. The team delivered 12 serving aces, led by Auri Harris with 3 aces. Offensively, the team totaled 16 kills, with Harris again leading the way with 6 kills, and Jada Bates adding 4 kills. Defensively, the team recorded 26 digs, highlighted by Ty’Keriah Kennedy’s strong effort with 7 digs. vs. Faith Baptist

In the second matchup of the day, the Lady Indians faced a tough opponent in Faith Baptist Christian, falling 2-0. Despite the loss, the team put up a fight with 6 total digs, led by Laina Williams with 3. Serve receive errors proved costly in the hard-fought contest.

JV vs. Tattnall

The JV Lady Indians claimed a solid 2-0 victory over Tattnall, powered by a commanding performance at the service line. The team racked up an impressive 22 serving aces during the match.

Addie Yancey led the charge with 8 aces, while Emilynn Campbell added 6 aces of her own. The offensive attack was just as sharp, with the team totaling 13 kills. Yancey again led in this category with 5 kills, and Campbell contributed 3 kills.

It was a well-rounded performance that showcased the Lady Indians’ depth and precision on the court.
