Memorial Health Meadows Hospital is hosting a free class that will focus on empowering young girls with knowledge about their bodies and emotions from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, September 15.
The Growing Up Confidently event is a free class designed to educate and encourage open conversations about growing up and emotional struggles between girls, parents, and peers. The class uses interactive presentations and role play exercises to help young girls learn more about their anatomy, emotions, and how to build self confidence, all while in a supportive environment.
The event is designed to benefit girls ages 8-13, but all females are welcome to join. Participants will be fed dinner during the class, and therefore, must register for the event. To register, visit the Memorial Health Meadows Hospital website, or call (912) 5355555.
