fumble on the very next play, regaining control for Vidalia.

Moments later, Jamarré Wiggs broke off a long run to set up a 1-yard touchdown plunge by Ryan Brantley, who also added a two-point conversion, pushing the score to 35-0 late in the third quarter.

Vidalia’s secondstringers closed out the fourth quarter, with the defense holding strong and preserving the shutout. Tyler McKinney added a lategame spark with a long run into Heron territory, as the Indians continued to dominate both sides of the ball until the final whistle.

With the win, Vidalia improves their record to 1-3 on the season. More importantly, they gave their Homecoming crowd exactly what they came for—a statement win under the Friday night lights.

This week VHS will host the Indians of Dodge County with kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
