New Providers Join Memorial Health Meadows Hospital Women’s Care

Memorial Health Meadows Hospital is continuing to add to their team, as Dr. Marshall Akin and Jessica Crews have officially joined the hospital as Women’s Care Providers.

Akin is an OB/GYN specialist who is currently on the path to completing his American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology certification – he has already completed all residencies and other requirements to be fully certified. Akin earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and is very familiar with HCA and Memorial Health, with whom he completed his residency at the facility in Savannah.

Crews is an American Midwifery Certification Board-certified specialist. She went into nurse midwifery after having her first child and falling in love with the field. Crews earned her degree in Nurse Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky, and specializes in maternity care. She has a unique passion for providing care in a down-to-earth manner.
