Heritage Drops 2 Games
The Vidalia Heritage Academy Lady Eagles softball team played two tough games last week as they lost to Trinity Chrisitan and David Emanuel Academy. vs. Trinity
Trinity took the early lead with two runs in the bottom of the first inning. VHA scored their only run of the game in the top of the second inning on a hit by Braylie Braddy. That closed the lead to 2-1, but Trinity answered with six more runs in the bottom of the second inning to extend their lead to 8-1.
Trinity added five more in the third inning on the way to a 13-1 win over Heritage. vs. DEA
It was another tough game on Thursday for VHA against David Emanuel. DEA jumped out with six runs in the bottom of the first inning, and then added two more in the second to take an 8-0 lead.
DEA closed out the game in the third inning with seven more runs to win the game by the run rule, 15-0.
This week VHA played Citizens Christian on Monday after press time. They will not be back in action until next Tuesday at home against Robert Toombs Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m.
