Gardens of Hope RCO Hosts Black Balloon Fundraiser

mrandolphadvance@gmail.com

Gardens of Hope Recovery Community Organization (RCO) is selling black balloons in honor of International Overdose Awareness Day on Sunday, August 31.

Each year, Gardens of Hope RCO sells black balloons that can be displayed outside businesses and homes in observance of International Overdose Awareness Day, as the community works to remember those who lost their lives due to overdose and to bring awareness to the addiction pandemic.

Balloons cost $25 each and will be delivered to the address given at purchase on Saturday, August 30, so the balloons may be displayed on Sunday, August 31. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards recovery outreach events for families within Toombs County.

To buy a balloon or donate to the cause, call (912) 388-2206 or email Ashley Garner at ashley. gohrco@gmail.com.
