Toombs County Tailgate to Celebrate Home Football Opener on August 15

Toombs County Schools, the City of Lyons, and Lyons Main Street have collaborated again this year to host the annual Toombs County Tailgate to celebrate the opening home football game for the 2025 Toombs County High School Bulldogs.

This free event features several local food and shopping vendors, information on the district’s schools and resources, and more, as the community comes together to share their Bulldog pride.

The event will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Toombs County Courthouse, located at 100 Courthouse Square. For more information, call (912) 526-3141.
