Members of the Toombs Central High School Class of 1965 got together for a time of fellowship and strolling down memory lane on Saturday, June 7, as the class celebrated their 60th Year Class Reunion in Lyons.
During the event, the classmates each shared stories about their time in the military, their careers, and their hopes and plans for the future. They also reminisced about memories from their high school days, as they continued to foster the connections that began years ago.
The classmates also remembered their peers that have passed away over the years – Linda Carol Toole, Donald Mosley, Phyllis Harrison Toole, Tommy Burke, Larry Smith, Ronny Parker, Roger Dale Powell, Josephine Harrison Toole, Robert Dotson, Vernell Stanley, Conley Dixon, Linda Chalker, Roger Cook, and Joyce Hart Tyson.
The Class has already made plans to reunite again next year, as they all shared that they enjoy reconnecting with one another and want to continue to do so as long as they are able.
