Bulldog Road to Have New Stop Area

Drivers should remain cautious on Bulldog Road in Lyons, as a new stop condition has been implemented at the road’s intersection with the new U.S. Highway 1 Bypass. This new stop condition began on Monday, June 16, as drivers traveling west of Toombs County Schools, near the intersection of Bulldog Road and Dee Mosley Road, must stop before continuing to pass the road’s intersection with the new bypass. Message boards have been placed leading up to the stop to notify the public of this change. These boards will remain up for an extended amount of time as drivers get accustomed to this change.

Drivers traveling the area are encouraged to remain cautious as the public becomes familiar with the new stop condition.
