The Brewton-Parker College Barons Head Athletic Trainer, Jack “Reynolds” Hall, won the 2024-25 Southern States Athletic Conference AT Trainer of the Year award on June 1, 2025. The entire Barons community is thrilled to extend our congratulations to an incredible person and dedicated worker.
As the runner-up of last year’s vote, the Brewton-Parker family is overjoyed to see Reynolds get recognition for his hard work. Reynolds’ work ethic, passion for Brewton-Parker athletes, and dedication to visiting teams are the reasons he won the award, which the conference athletic trainers voted on. Knowing the hard work and commitment Reynolds shows in his work is why everyone at Brewton-Parker loves to work with him.
Head Women’s Basketball Coach Steve Edwards shared his thoughts on Reynolds, “It’s a pleasure to work alongside Reynolds. He loves his job and our student-athletes. Our athletes view him as an extension of each program. He goes above and beyond for our student-athletes. We are blessed to have him at Brewton-Parker. We are thrilled to see him win this award.” Anyone familiar with Reynolds will have no trouble recognizing him as our team’s most energetic supporter. He is known for showing his excitement and enthusiasm at the end of the bench, cheering on and rallying the bench to support the athletes playing in the games. Reynolds’ love for the teams is infectious, highlighting the unique atmosphere and connections at Brewton-Parker.
Every program that works with Reynolds gets one of the best athletic trainers in the business. During his five years at Brewton-Parker, Reynolds has grown and improved tremendously, becoming someone everyone in the athletic department can rely on. Head Baseball Coach Aaron Larsen shared what Reynolds means to him and his program, “Reynolds is the definition of a true servant leader who is willing to go above and beyond for our studentathletes. He is more than willing to come in early or stay late to ensure our athletes are healthy and back on the field. He is our number-one supporter and the heartbeat of not only our team but our athletic department. He has become a mentor to our athletes and, most importantly, a safe space that bridges the relationship between student and coach. Over the past few years, he has not only been a supporter of our athletes but also of our coaches. I am lucky to call him a friend and couldn’t be more proud of him.”
Brewton-Parker is blessed to have two outstanding athletic trainers, Reynolds and Paige Dill, from Optim Health. The hard work these two provide is instrumental to the athletic department’s success. There is no one better to say what Reynolds means to Brewton-Parker than the person who works beside him every day.
Paige shared her thoughts on what it’s like to work with Reynolds. “I am truly blessed to have Reynolds as not only my coworker but also my friend. He is always willing to help in any situation, and I know I can trust him to ensure that things are done the right way. He has a tremendous passion and drive for athletic training, and he wants to help people become the best versions of themselves. Brewton-Parker has one of the best out there, making a difference.”
Reynolds is a pillar of reliability for the entire department, a figure that every team knows they can rely on to help their athletes recover and be ready to compete. Brewton- Parker is thrilled to congratulate Jack “Reynolds” Hall on all his hard work and dedication.
