On Wednesday of last week, Toombs County High School Senior, Josseline Zamorano, made it official as she signed her letter of intent to continue her soccer career at Brewton- Parker College this fall. A four-year starter for the Lady Bulldogs, Zamorano has been a consistent presence in the midfield throughout her high school career and served as a team captain during her senior

season. Zamorano said, “I feel very blessed to have been given this opportunity. I have been working hard over the past year to get to this point. I want to thank my family and especially my brother Yovanny for practicing with me and helping me get better. I want to thank my friends, teammates, and all of my coaches. I am excited to get started.”

“Josseline has always been around the game of soccer and has worked hard to develop into a stronger player each year,” said Head Coach Jeremy Moore. “She’s grown tremendously as a leader, and I have no doubt she’ll make the most of this opportunity at the next level. We’re proud of her, and I know her family is extremely proud as well.”

Zamorano becomes the latest Toombs County student-athlete to take her talents to the collegiate level, continuing the program’s tradition of success both on and off the field.
