On Friday, May 9, the Greater Vidalia Chamber recently hosted their annual Showcasing Greater Vidalia event, which raises money for the chamber while highlighting the goods and services offered by local businesses.

This year’s event was themed Vidalia Vice, as the event paid tribute to the popular Miami Vice tv show. Attendees dressed for the theme, as they perused the many silent auction items and enjoyed photo booths sponsored by local businesses. A live auction was held later in the night, as attendees had a chance to win prizes, such as University of Georgia football game tickets, a St. Simons Beach getaway, a murder mystery party, and more. For more information on this annual event or other Greater Vidalia Chamber signature events, contact the Chamber at (912) 537-4466.
