WASHED OUT ROADS – Because of the storms that came through the area on Sunday, May 11, and Monday, May 12, several roads throughout Toombs County have become washed out, leaving several road hazards for drivers.

BRINGING UP GRADES CELEBRATION – Each semester, the Kiwanis Club of Vidalia celebrates students who have shown good character and improvement in their academics with a Bringing Up Grades (BUG) Celebration. This semester, the event was held on Wednesday, May 7.
