A BLAZING SATURDAY – Firefighters were dispatched to Georgia Highway 221 south of Mason Street in Mount Vernon on Saturday afternoon, October 12, as a Chevy Silverado burst into flames. Witnesses say that the vehicle pulled over and four construction workers fled from the truck as it became engulfed in fire. The exact cause of the blaze has not been determined.
