VGC At Southern Regionals

Twenty-seven local competitive gymnasts of Team Vidalia of Vidalia Gymnastics & Cheer qualified and competed at the AAU Southern Regionals Championship in Dalton, Georgia on Mother’s Day, May 12. The athletes represented Team Georgia and competed against over a thousand gymnasts from not only Georgia, but Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky.

Team Georgia brought home Gold and the Regional Title in Levels One and Three, while Levels Two and Excel Gold brought home Silver and Regional Runners-up title.

The girls of Team Vidalia now prepare for their final competition of the season, the National Championship this June, held in Daytona, Florida.
