The Four Rivers Patriots Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution held its monthly meeting on Thursday night, April 18, 2024, at Chatters Restaurant in Lyons. With President Steve DeWeil presiding, there were 15 in attendance.

Mike Lisenby presented his program for the evening on the 'Constitution.' Lisenby is a retired lawyer from Swainsboro and is married to the former Nancy Smith of Swainsboro. He is a member of the First Methodist Church and also the Swainsboro Exchange Club. Next month's meeting will be held on May 16 at Chatters Restaurant, with the Wiregrass Chapter President of the Swainsboro SAR Chapter presenting his program on 'The Battle of Trenton, American Revolutionary War.”
