On Wednesday of last week at Toombs County High School on National Signing Day, Daden Marsh signed his letter of intent to play football for Clarke Atlanta University. As the name implies, Clarke Atlanta is located in Atlanta and is an NCAA Division II school that plays in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Marsh said, “I am feeling great. After what I have been through over the past year to get this chance is just great for me. A recruiter asked me if I would be interested in playing with them, and I jumped at the chance. I am looking forward to getting my chance to play there, and I am ready and excited for this. I have to thank all of the coaches that have helped me through the years, my family, just everyone that has been a part of this.”

Former TCHS Head Coach Richie Marsh, Caden's father stated, “God is good. We are just blessed that he has this opportunity. It is so hard with the way recruiting is now for kids to get this chance coming out of high school. It is just great for him to get this chance to move on, and we are excited to see what he can do with it.”

TCHS Head Coach Buddy Martin added, “We love Caden Marsh. He is special to us. He is an ultimate competitor. He just pushes everyone else around him to be better, and I am so pumped for him. I have been around him my whole life, he is family, and I am just so proud of him.”
