PLANTING SEEDLINGS – At Toombs County High School, Chasity Knight’s Forestry Class took advantage of the warmer weather last week and planted Pond Pine Seedlings behind the school. Students have been learning about reforestation, taking notes and watching videos on how to start and maintain a healthy pine stand. PACKED MEETING – Several family members, friends, community members, and former students attended the Montgomery County Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, April 22, as the school auditorium was dedicated to Patricia Dobbins.
