MEADOWS CHRISTMAS PROJECT — Memorial Health Meadows Hospital conducted its annual “Care Like Family: Operation Christmas Project,” last week by donating items to 16 local families, including 34 children. The donations were from MHMH colleagues. “We buy items from a list that includes clothing, shoes, special requests, and more. This is our favorite program each year,” said Jennifer Sutton, Meadows Nursing/Marketing Coordinator, Patient Care Services. COMMUNITY EFFORT – The goal of Keep It Clean Vidalia is to have a clean uncluttered community free of litter. Over 75 Keep It Clean volunteers gathered 11 discarded tires and filled 114 bags of trash in 5 areas of the City of Vidalia in just one hour this past Saturday.
EXPANDING THE CAMPUS – Brewton-Parker Christian University recently expanded its campus with the purchase of a 18.44-acre property along West College Street (U.S. Highway 280) in Ailey.
