RTCA’S LEO CLUB COLLECTS DRESSES — Robert Toombs Christian Academy's Leo Club collected gently used formal dresses during the months of February and March for Baxley Church of God's upcoming event, Chance to Dance, on March 26. The club collected over 75 dresses from donations received from members of the community and from RTCA students. Overall, Chance to Dance has collected around 100 dresses for their cause. A1A BAND – The A1A Band is known as the Official and Original Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band, and will bring a little bit of Margaritaville flair to the Sweet Onion City for the July 4th Celebration at Ronnie A. Dixon City Park.
BOOST GRANT – Brown’s Jewelry was presented a $1,500 BOOST Grant on Wednesday, June 17, as the Downtown Vidalia Association reimbursed the business’s owners for the new awning that was installed at the business’s entrance.
