MCHS Over Hephzibah

The Eagles baseball team of Montgomery County High School played just one game last week, and picked up a win over Hephzibah.

The Eagles scored nine runs in the top of the first inning to take a commanding lead over the Rebels. MCHS added six more in the third inning to go ahead 15-0. The Rebels scored three runs in the bottom of the third inning, but that was all they could get.

MCHS capped it off with three more in the fourth inning on the way to an 18-3 win. This week the Eagles will have a three-game series against McIntosh County Academy. They played the first game on Tuesday in Mt. Vernon after presstime. They will have a double header in Darien on Friday with the first game at 4:00 p.m.
