VHS Falls To Savannah Arts

The Vidalia High School soccer teams were at Savannah Arts on Tuesday of last week. The Lady Indians dropped their game by the mercy rule, but the boys played tough and fell by just one goal.

Girls

In the girls match the Lady Panthers of Savannah found the back of the net seven times in the first half of the game. They added three more in the second half to take the win, 10-0 over the Lady Indians.

Boys

In the boys contest the Panthers had the lead in the first half of the game with one goal. In the second half both teams picked up a goal, but VHS fell 2-1 to Savannah. The lone goal for VHS came from Jude Owen.

The Lady Indians are 1-8 on the year and 1-6 in the Region, and the boys are 3-6 overall and 2-5 in the Region. This week VHS hosted Tattnall County on Tuesday after presstime. They will be back in action at Brantley County on Friday with the first game at 5:00 p.m.
